Anyway, us coombellers out here mainly live of the land and our specialty food would be prairie oysters. But only when we can't source any monkey brains. Predominantly we eat what ever is in season, the trouble is being hobby farmers, we never know what's in season, so we just eat what's on offer at any time. Actually, it's mainly roadkill this week... Blue Tongue Lizard, yum. You need about 5 of those for a good meal. So, I keep driving up and down the gravel road all morning.

We have a French backpacker working with us and he asked me to stop at a deli today so he could get some lunch. Well he came out with a huge carton of chips & gravy and a hamburger... You have to be kidding me I said but he got through the lot in 10 minutes.......

That doesn't make sense. I've been told that the french eat mostly snails because they don't like fast food.
However, that one must have been extremely hungry after being worked really hard by you. I wouldn't mind betting that I could beat him by at least 30 seconds if you did the same to me.
